Tevo Tea

Tevo is a premium sparkling tea brand that was created as a refreshing, health-conscious substitute for sugary sodas. In order to create a unified, scalable system suitable for retail settings, this project explores brand strategy, visual identity, and packaging design across various formats.

Brand Designer

Scope

Branding & Packaging

Tools

Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop

Branding

A soft pastel colour palette and rounded typography was selected to ensure the natural ingredient aspect of the brand was brought to light while also supporting flavour differentiation.

Packaging Inspiration

Research was conducted on competing brands and various dieline formats, more specifically sustainable and functional packaging options, ensuring that materials, shelf presence, and product protection were taken into account.

Three green promotional tea pouches with leaf patterns, branding messages, and an open pouch revealing a Nerada tea bag.

Paper Prototypes

Explored different packaging formats for single and family-sized packaging systems by creating various paper prototype models. After a format was selected, I was able to further refine my dielines to ensure functionality without sacrificing design choices.

Final Designs

The final outcome consists of a fully developed sparkling tea brand with a unified visual identity and flexible packaging system, which includes 2D bottle labels and 3D single tea pouches as well as a multi-pack box.

2D Packaging

Sparkling glass bottle labels designed with: clear hierarchy and strong brand recognition, flavor-based colour coding, and a balance of simplicity and playful energy. Each label mirrors the crisp, refreshing nature of the tea while remaining clean and shelf-ready.

Light blue bottle with gold cap and Tevo Wild Blueberry label.

3D Packaging

A cohesive packaging system including: single-serve tea pouches and coordinated multi-pack tea boxes. The designs use soft curves, clean layouts, and vibrant pastels to enhance shelf presence while maintaining consistency across formats.

Takeaway

My project provided me with the ability to create unified brand system from strategy to execution. I gained experience in designing for both 2D and 3D applications, finding a balance between premium restraint and visual playfulness, and taking real-world production and shelf impact into account at every stage of the design process.
